Also includes church histories of 1st Parish (Unitarian), Evangelical Congregational, First Baptist, Independent Christian, Methodism (includes photos), New Church, and Third Church (Annisquam), and information concering Salem Baptist Association, St. Ann's, and Universalist; city and town of Gloucester Auditing Committee report, by-laws, city charter, city documents No. 1 and 2, inaugural addresses, and police regulations; election materials (1840-1875); fishing and fisheries material including Report of Commissioners on Inland Fisheries, harbor regulations, Fishermen's Memorial and record book, and Fisheries of Gloucester from 1623 to 1876; Gloucester Fishermen's & Seamen's Widows & Orphans Aid Society history from 1862 and annual report; library cards, sheets, history, letter, lithograph, and other items; Lighting & Heating Co. letter from the president; and military materials including reports of Inspector-General Massachusetts Volunteer Militia and Surgeon-General.
